Stuart
Paul Stuart is an artist and writer. He studied painting in NCAD and is fascinated with drawing the human figure; in particular he is obsessed with the precision use of line in depicting the human form. His influences range from Egon Schiele to Euan Uglow and Jenny Saville. He regularly attends the life drawing session at the RHA where his arsenal consists of 3b, 6b and 9b graphite pencils, a Milano eraser and a blackbelt in concentration. Paul has an addiction to stationary but is undergoing treatment.
Paul lives in Drumcondra with his wife and nine-year-old son who regularly beats him at Scrabble.
